James Pyle

  General Notes:

Death regno 7706. James Pyle built and ran the general store in Wickliffe in 1863. In 1879, the shop was taken over by his brother-in-law Robert Ford, and the Pyle family moved to the Riverina taking up land near Berrigan.

James married Caroline Ford, daughter of William Ford and Sarah Trew, in 1860 in Wickliffe district. (Caroline Ford was born on 21 Jan 1844 at Sea and died in 1917 in Jerilderie district.)
